Ten churches and 10 schools pledged their harvest collections to Faversham Foodbank, which totalled a staggering 1863kg of food.
“As well as everyone who donated through their church or school, we also have to thank our tireless volunteers who keep the Foodbank running,” Stephen Palmer, the Foodbank’s Project Manager said.
“The huge number of harvest donations meant extra work for them but no one was complaining!”
